Show Rules and Regulations

  1. Classes are $18 each. There will be a $10 Office Free and $10 EMT fee added to each entry. Checks should be made payable to “BLACK HORSE STABLES.” If you pre-enter, then Office fee is waived.
  2. PRE-ENTRIES can be emailed to:

  3. Fees must be paid before numbers are issued. Parents or guardians must accompany minors when filling registration forms.
  4. Approved protective headgear and shoes with heels are required when mounted.
  5. Martingales are not permitted in flat classes.
  6. There will be a short schooling break before each division.
  7. Outdoor Ring will be open for additional schooling
  8. The horse show management reserves the right to cancel, combine, divide, or add classes as they deem appropriate:
    • (3)- Riders are required to fill a class for placing ribbon awards.
    • (4)- Riders are required in each class of a division for Championship ribbons to be awarded.
  9. Worcester Stables, Managers, Staff, and/or Volunteers will not be held responsible for any accident, loss, or damage which occurs to any rider, horse, or equipment before, during, or after the horse show.
  10. All activities on show grounds are subject to the PA State Equine Law
  11. Non-negotiable checks be will subject to a $25 processing fee.

Fees:

  • $18/class or $80 for the ability to ride in an unlimited amount of classes
  • $10 EMT fee/per entry
  • $10 Office fee is Waived if you Pre-Enter!

If there are horse usage conflicts; Management may decide to split classes into 2 sections

Open to riders 8 & Under. May only cross enter into Walk/Trot Divisions

MINI-STIRRUP:
Open to riders 10 yrs & under. May cross enter into Walk/Trot and Short Stirrup
  1. M.S. Pleasure – Walk/Trot
  2. M.S. Equitation – Walk/Trot
  3. M.S. Trot simple course of ground poles
WALK/TROT:
Open to All Ages. Diagonals not to count

SHORT-STIRRUP:
Open to riders 12 yrs & under. May cross enter into Beginner Rider

LONG-STIRRUP:
Open to riders 13yrs & older. May cross enter into Beginner Rider

BEGINNER RIDER EQUITATION:
Open to all rider in their first two years of showing. May not enter classes above 2’ at this show. Will split 17yrs and under and 18yr and over if entries warrant.

YOUNG/GREEN HUNTER:
Open to horses and ponies in their first two years of showing. May not enter classes above 2’ at this show. Trotting corners will not penalized. Fences 2’

MODIFIED HUNTER:
Open to Junior or Adult Amateurs on horses or ponies. Fences 2’3”
